Diagnosis: Inoperable Carcinoma of the Cervix . Histology: Carcinoma Solidum Simplex Pathol. Institute Munich
Standard/ Conventional Treatment

April to May 1967
Treatment: Radium Implant and Radiation Therapy, Remission.

September 1967
First recurrence. Treatment: Telecobalt Therapy, Remission.

November 1967
Second recurrence. Radiation Therapy exhausted.

No further standard treatment possible. Patient considered incurable.

Issels Treatment

December 1967
Independent admission findings: Resistance of the size of a plum in the left parametrium.

December 1967 to February 1968
Issels Treatment: 10 weeks of in-patient treatment at Issels hospital with 6 months of out-patient follow-up treatment.

February 1968
Distinct remission of the tumor.

Follow-up until 1971
3 years no progression of the cancer. Patient leads normal healthy life.
