Histology: Sarcomatous Degenerated Myoma. Pathol. Inst. Prof. Hueck, Munich.
Treatment: Radical Surgery. Radium Implant and Radiation Therapy.
July 1953
Metastatic Recurrence. Secondary Deposits in the Sternum.
No Standard Treatment.
September to December 1953
Issels Treatment: 15 weeks of in-patient treatment and 6 months of out-patient follow-up treatment.
January 1954
Complete Remission.
17 years cancer free without any further recurrence, patient leading a normal life, fully fit for work.
