Dear Dr . Issels ,
During the constitutive meeting of the above-mentioned special field commission under the central coordination of the Federal Minister for Research and Technology, the formation of a working group associated with the commission was decided, which is to deal with the un?conventional methods in the struggle against cancer .
This requires a suitable body of experts. As I was given your name as that of an expert who is interested in the above-mentioned subject matter and of a person able to provide adequate knowledge, I ask you to place yourself at our disposal for this task.
I invite you, in the name of the Federal Minister for Youth, Family Affairs and Health, to the constitutive
meeting of the working group mentioned at the beginning, which will take place
at 10.30 a .m . on Tuesday , June 30 , 1981,
at the Science Center, Bonn-Bad Godesb erg , Ahrstrasse 45 , room S4/S5.
At the same time, I am sending you the minutes of results of the constitutive meeting of June 30, 1981, a participants' list as well as a note of Professor Kaufmann, from which the assessment criteria for first perusal of the existing materials can be gathered.
As agreed by phone, I therefore invite you to the
Federal Ministry for Youth, Family Affairs
and Health, Bonn 2, Deutsch herrenstrasse 87,
room 40, at 10.30 a .m . on Tuesday, September 8, 1981.
Traveling expenses may be refunded according to the provisions of the Federal Act on Traveling Expenses. For your information, I am enclosing the press communication issued by the Federal Ministry for Youth, Family Affairs and Health on the occasion of the constitutive meeting of the working group.
