Use of Ozone Therapy for Various Medical Conditions Including Cancer
Ozone is a gas that is comprised of three oxygen atoms. It is considered an energized form of oxygen with extra electrons. Ozone forms the protective layer around the planet, yet becomes a pollutant when mixed with hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxide from automobile and factory emissions.
Ozone is used worldwide to disinfect municipal drinking water, because of its bactericidal and fungicidal effects.
Medical Ozone has been used since the 1950s with a variety of medical conditions.
Ways to administer medical ozone, sometimes in combination, include:
- Blood oxygenation, i.e. a certain amount of venous blood is withdrawn by venipuncture, ozonated and returned by injection into muscle or vein.
- Rectal insufflation, like an enema, but with ozonated oxygen.
- Vaginal insufflation with ozonated oxygen.
- Injection into or near painful joints.
