  1. I think it would be awful to have cancer, and though it would be great you lived, it would be hard to get back to work. Cancer is a pretty serious thing, so I think supervisors and your bosses would be pretty flexible to work with. I didn’t know there were things like the ADA and FMLA. It’s nice to know there is something to back you up if things don’t go so well.

  3. I think it’s a really important thing to communicate as much as possible with anyone who may be affected by your cancer treatment. I had a coworker who went through chemotherapy and we worked together to make sure our collective work got done. It took some planning but we made it work, and I’m glad they talked to me about it.
